Haystack TV announced it’s expansion into local news and weather through partnerships with major broadcast groups Grey Television, Meredith Corporation, and Hearst Television, adding the ability to stream local news and weather from 70 U.S. Markets, encompassing nearly 40 million households.

Haystack TV’s platform features apps across mobile and over-the-top (OTT) platforms. The company creates custom newscasts for each user with a mix of artificial intelligence, big data technologies, and editorial curation. When users launch the Haystack TV app, they will see a mix of the top news of the day and stories tuned to their specific interests based on their location, viewing habits, preferred sources, and favorite topics.
